They can end up being a . mathematical. journey of reducing the glorious truths of the gospel to bite sized and memorable sentences. However, the Heidelberg is different. Very different. The Heidelberg is warm, encouraging, grace fuelled and stretching. It covers the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Baptism and Communion, the 10 Commandments and the Lord's . prayer. . It opens up each and applies them wonderfully. Not convinced? Let me give you my top 5 Heidelberg questions: ...

A. Pythagoras, you never let me down before , I will try to remember where the hypotenuse rest and this value squared is equal to the sum of the other two sides squared in that very sacred right triangle that lies in the unit circle. May I always remember the adjacent and opposite sides are located and that the sum of all angles is pi (mmm time for a snack).

A. I Kings 7:23-26 He made the Sea of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line of thirty cubits to measure around it. Below the rim, gourds encircled it - ten to a cubit. The gourds were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea. The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center. It was a handbreadth in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held two thousand baths. (NIV) Hence pi is equal to 30 divided by 10. Pi is exactly 3.

A. You have a very interesting question. I will answer it in two parts 1) How do you distinguish what God says (or rather intuition) and ones own feelings or what one says? Everyone has had some sort of intuitive feelings at some point in their life. Intuition or a suggestion from God is something that we just know. There is no logic or feeling involved. We just know it. When one has this, there is a ring of certainty. However, most people even after getting this intuition, then start doubting it and the purpose is lost. When we say things to ourselves, we tend to base it on past experience, logic, emotions and we have the desire of wanting to know and wanting to be right. (Intuition is devoid of all this). 2) When something good… [cont.]
